Perhaps I missed the point or perhaps the point is that voters in non presidential elections vote in similar patterns every single time. But sure, the electorate sucks. We all know this.

The point is that people were told, forever, that republicans successfully banning abortion services would cause a tidal wave of voters to show up and vote them out. It happened and voters didn’t even show up at a the rate to that of the previous comparable election.
