MN case law says nervousness on its own isn't suspicious unless it's wildly beyond what would be normal, which is at least a little something. A few judges I've seen lately have explicitly said in rulings that a POC, esp black men, have every reason to be more nervous than typical. But on the whole

The law very much does not gaf about the very real power imbalance, corruption, or literal ability to kill the driver btwn an officer & a citizen. Same with pretextual stops - why tf are those fine as long as they can come up with any bullshit reason for the stop other than "not white driver"? They

Can literally write in their report, "I saw a Hispanic male driving & i decided to stop him bc I think Hispanic people commit crimes & I don't like them and also they had an object suspended from the rear view mirror" and the law is like, "oh well, then, do your thing, officer racism!"
