Beyond handing Putin a diplomatic victory, it is unclear what, if anything, Trump's summit achieved. No wonder the Russian president wants to do it again. The great big anticlimax in Alaska:

Trump imagines he is greater than he really is. He believes he can handle Putin, and ( imagining a new Russian market awaiting his businesses) he plays to Putin's interest. A summit with Putin was not going to do anything for Ukraine. We all knew that. But would Trump think on selling Alaska?

What do you mean? The summit has been a HUGE success for Trump. Nobody has mentioned Epstein for 24 hours - it's all about the distraction. Tomorrow it'll no doubt be something different.
