Surprising how many news agencies are hated by viewers. The Trump era of “shooting the messenger.” It’s impossible to understate how badly Donald Trump has divided this country.

Divided? Into what? On one side is the reality based community and on the other is a community that cannot distinguish between reality and fantasy. Those who cannot tell the difference meet the legal definition of insanity. Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn’t go away.

It isn't shoot the messenger, IMO. Ppl are angry over what the media chooses to cover and what it doesn't cover. Omission has power. They are guilty of trumping up Trump and shoving his corruption under the rug. I defended the media until I couldn't anymore.

My wife was a photojournalist who cover wars in Iraq and Syria among others. Nobody in the 'mainstream media' told her what to do, she went into the field, she photographed and filmed things, she sent it to her agent and the agent sold them to the world media.
