Why not also Washington, Colorado, New Mexico, and Oregon? Why not New Jersey? And Michigan owes us big for its nonsense last year why not them?

A. Dem trifecta's a prerequisite. That eliminates Mich. B. There need to be R districts to eliminate. NM has none (WA has 2 [of 10], CO has 4 [of 8], NJ has 3 [of 12]). C. NY can't do it in time for the midterms. D. IL *may* provide 1 seat; CO, 2. E. Rs may shave it too close & lose "safe" races
www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?obj... Neither party can gerrymander in Michigan. Our districts are decided by an independent board.
So were California's. Hence the initiative.
We are not as blue as California. We are purple and Dems don’t control the house/senate here.
Right. As I noted in my first post.
Yes to all of them
Michigan passed an bi-partisan bill to our state constitution to stop gerrymanding back in 2020. By bi-partisan. I mean we the people of Michigan petitioned, got it in the ballot then voted for it. Michigan literally cannot be gerrymandered. Its districts are decided by a neutral board.
So neither party can play its gerrymanding bullshit game here. We are, in fact, morally superior to these antics.
