Stephen doesn't want to see himself as an immigrant even though he comes straight from Uranus.
Stephen doesn't want to see himself as an immigrant even though he comes straight from Uranus.
Great Rao! There’s more than one evil Stephen Miller. Do I want to look up the Steve Miller Band? Will I be sad? Superman is an illegal alien who passes for white (and human). And he is very deliberately maintaining that facade at work, to benefit from white (and human) privilege.
How many evil Stephen Millers are there, ffs?
Too fucking many.
There's a Joker; a smoker; a midnight toker; and a couple of pompetouses of love
pompoustess
What the fuck is a pompetus, anyway?
Nobody knows
Everyone with that name.
Ayooooooo
Instead of reading comic books, red sleaze spent his childhood reading about the use of racial slurs and pamphlets handed out by guys that have both weekday and weekend white hoods.
True. TBF what he says comes from his anus.
"He didn't come here from another COUNTRY! He came here from another PLANET! And the planets are owned by AMERICA!"
"somebody needs a hug, it's just a movie guys" is a great way to reply to their overdramatic outrage
Not mine!!!!
Superman came from a different planet so that makes him an immigrant! Same as people coming to USA from different countries!
I think Stephen is at least part Romulan. He only circles Uranus, picking off Klingons.
Not mine
He's a white guy from the planet Krypton. What part of the word "white" are you not getting? How can a white guy be an immigrant?
I dropped a big Stephen Miller just this morning
Stephen Miller thinks "immigrant" and "orphan" are mutually exclusive...which I guess explains how he can sleep at night knowing that he's continually supported people who've made orphans of immigrant children for nearly a decade now.
but if orphans are not immigrants, according to his logic, then anyone waiting at the border who parents are deceased gets in, right?
and no orphans can be deported!!
Stephen needs an atomic wedgie.
Superman: Created by two jewish men, one of which was Canadian. Not exactly something the current right-wing likes. The only thing that makes it American is that it's been absorbed into what passes for American "culture" these days.
Different Steve, I think. Apparently that name goes well with “racist bastard.”
Even supervillain Lex Luthor wasn’t a white nationalist. If you made him dumber with a touch more hair and made his great grandparents refugees from Uranus, *then* you’d have Stephen Miller.
Exactly. Comparing Steven Miller to LL would be an upgrade.
Stephen is just another wannabe Pluto-crat from Uranus.
It was a really good movie!
Better out than in I guess.
The fact that grown-ass men get this hysterical about a cartoon character really is something.
☠️☠️☠️
Kal-El is literally an alien from another plant.
He wishes he came from Uranus.
Is there some sort of competition between two Stephen Millers to be dicks?
Emphasis on “your”.
#truth
@kenwhite.bsky.social Clark Kent is the son of the American ambassador to Krypton. Apparently.
i just. superman is fictional. mr. miller is arguing about the facts of a fictional person.
It's like kids arguing who's tougher, Jason or Chucky.
See also: Dan Quayle, Murphy Brown.
wild. i never knew about this!
In that more innocent time, we didn't think we'd ever see anything dumber. How wrong we were.
Potatoe.
🤦♀️
Superman came from a different planet. Seems like an immigrant to me.
I’m really confused as to why an immigrant can’t be an orphan.
When did orphan and immigrant become mutually exclusive?
When they had to.
And he's a refugee to boot. The triple crown of sympathetic.
It's because conservatives refuse to accept that an immigrant could be white.
They aren't, he's just dumb as a stump.
Nathan Fillion doesn't really wade into culture wars but still manages to be awesome
He harassed and bullied Stana Katic
Ya rekt’im!
Stephen Miller has trouble with the “two things can be true” concept. Surprise surprise.
🤭
Maybe it would help if they understood he's not really a white man--he's an alien who is mistaken for a white man.
LIke Randy Fine
Wait until MAGA finds out, that ultimately, they are also immigrants. Fucking Morons!!
And. .. Superman is a fictional character. What!!!!!!!
Superman is not just an immigrant - he's illegal. His mom and dad doctored his birth certificate and lied about him. They would be surely guilty of federal crimes, and superman himself should be deported.
He also brought WMD's in his eyes
Right? That's what I plan on pointing out if I ever encounter such people. That any way you look at it, however you want to label him, there is one undeniable fact no matter what: his parents had to fabricate a birth certificate for him.
They see Superman as white---therefore he can't be an immigrant. (2)
Here is the acid test--does Stephen Miller sees Elon Musk--I mean Miles Bron!--as an immigrant? I f he doesn't, that's proof that not only does he see "immigrant"--all of them--as a pejorative, but he doesn't believe that term applies to white people. (3)
I can see the logic in people refusing to call Superman an immigrant because they won't call THEMSELVES immigrants when they move abroad but an "expat." Too many Americans see "immigrants" as applying only to black or brown people who do manual labor, never themselves. (1)
If it wasn’t so extremely difficult, and expensive, to ditch my US citizenship, I’d do everything to become an immigrant. Until then, I must remain an expat.
Thanks for replying and good luck getting your new passport! (5)
If so, then congratulations---you're an immigrant! The British people who live in places like Mallorga and never learn a single WORD of Spanish are true expats. (They are also an embarrassment to British immigrants who live elsewhere in Spain.). (4)
For me, this is the real distinction--- have you learned/are learning the language of your new country and adapted to their customs? Do you socialize or make friends with any of the locals? (3)
Most people who use the term expat don't make that distinction. They will still call former Americans who naturalized into another country as an "expat" because they can not see themselves as an "immigrant." (2)
Your definition is slightly different. I assume you are not yet a legal citizen of the country you're living in and thus have the status of "resident alien." (1)
Expat is anyone who lives in a country that is not the same as their citizenship. I have German residency but that doesn’t magically mean I’m no longer an expat. Both can be true.
These t-shirts are still up for sale all over the internet and I think they should make a comeback.
Nathan Fillion for the win!
Superman didn't just illegally cross through our borders - he violated our airspace!
Does he...Does he...think orphans can't be immigrants?
He's never posted an intelligent thing in his life, so yeah, that checks.
No...just white people.
That’s some serious shirt-tucking!
An orphan who entered the country illegally and whom right-wingers gleefully call an illegal alien. Right-wingers love Putin (Putin is kidnapping kids from Ukraine). www.icc-cpi.int/news/situati...
That stupid right-winger @ red steeze, fucking Twitter kept putting him in my timeline after Agrawal became the CEO. I'd click "see less from this person " or whatever the terminology Twitter used. Fucking Twitter would keep putting that POS in my timeline. My days on Twitter ended around that time.
It's true, some babies are normal babies but some are butt babies. My brother told me I was a butt baby
So is the idea then that if you're an orphan you can be a citizen of any country (or planet) you want to?
Hahaha!!!!
The level of denial is stunning.
The Stephen and Steven Millers should have to be the ones who fight in that cage match they're planning for the white house lawn. The winner gets to keep the name.
That balding supervillain just needs to shave his head and go full Lex.
Superman's message is that all humans have value and this makes Republicans very mad.
Superman was an alien immigrant.
I guess technically he’s a migrant not an immigrant.
Whoa, hey! You take that back! I've forced some nasty shit from my anus, but none of it has ever started sieg heiling from the bottom of the bowl.
Loosely...
Shouldn't that be URSTEP-UNCLE?
I work with what I find. I found that a couple days ago & like most things a proper moment presented itself for me to use it.
I love how he fully commits to being wrong. There’s no room for “After thinking about it …” No, according to redsteeze people who say Superman is an immigrant are making a basic error. He’s all in.
I would like somebody to make a movie where the Punisher finds out he was adopted into the US and to keep from being deported, he has to shoot half of ICE. Just to see snowflake heads explode ❄️ 🤯 💥 .
Why stop at half?
There were some redditors arguing that due to a "Foundling Law", he's a foundling. Any baby found with no parents around to determine heritage, and boom: automatic American citizen. I guess they forgot the part where he was "found" with a spaceship.
It’s not like the backstory is right there in comics printed on actual paper that you can read, or anything.
No one named Miller should name a child Stephen from now until the end of time. Nothing good seems to come of it.
Uranus was never such a tight ass
I have a feeling Gunn and the studio will be making that jerk off motion with their hands to Stephen all the way to the bank, as Stephen’s face takes incoming.
