Next year's gubernatorial returns will show most of Alabama isn't embarrassed by him at all. It's a minority of individual Alabamians that are embarrassed by the rest of the residents.
About 38% voted for Harris, but I live in Rural Red Republican Alabama. There has been a swing in the past few weeks of people I know, and their concern about the Epstein Files and the ICE violence. Now this is just my acquaintances, so not scientific, but there had been zero movement since 2016.
