While misogyny is rampant in america, I'm of the belief that they lost not only because they were women but because they were historically unpopular establishment right wing women who were shoehorned into candidacy with either a sham primary or none at all.
All things considered, everyone knew what was at stake and, still, 36% sat this one out and Trump won the majority vote. I think it’s less about the Dem candidates and more about 1) Dem focus on niche issues, 2) ~78M racist fucking idiots who could be beat if it wasn’t for 3) collective apathy.
I mean, I voted 3rd party because I wasn't voting for a genocidaire. Which is part of the right wing establishment complaint. Why vote for fascist-lite?
