No, what I’m saying is republicans are just as responsible for upholding democracy as dems and everyone is just focusing on where the dems are. Republicans need to be held accountable as well.

Well the dems are supposed to be the opposition party to fascism, so yes, a lot of focus should be on calling them out for their inaction and bs about bipartisanship. Obviously Republicans need to be held accountable, that would be easier if dems were not trying to pretend this is all normal.

I agree but I’m really tired of republicans getting a pass at every damn turn. All of them represent us and none of them are doing what we voted them in to do, even the republicans. Dems are fighting against something none of us have seen, how do you do it?

I don't think Republicans are getting a pass. They might not be getting quite as much attention because we expect them to be ineffective fascists. A large portion of the population believes democrats are in opposition to that, and they should start acting like it.

They all need to be held to the standards of their office. They were all voted in by Americans in a democracy. I may not have voted Republican but I still expect them to serve America and not themselves nor the current regime when it’s against their it constitution.
