I was fine with it. There were a lot of issues with the ceremony but the layout of the stage - which is partly determined by the venue and partly mandated by law - was not one of them.

That’s helpful perspective. I felt like there was a problem when at least two winners felt it necessary to run up onto the stage and were winded during their speech. I’m obviously not advocating to get rid of the ramp, but multiple options are good.
