This isn't complicated. Autism Spectrum Disorder has always existed at its true prevalence rate. We just have much better understanding of neurodiversity and how to work with kids to attain skills they may need assistance gaining. Also there an industry around it that drives diagnosis a bit.

That said I have no issue with funding this researcher doing her research because of course we should be leaving no stone unturned and learning the full scope of how workplace exposure to chemicals impacts us.
