Safety is essential. Kids’ brains aren’t developed and they should not be riding vehicles that can travel at 35mph. Those that are slower are fine. They need responsible adults to set limits for them. It’s part of a civilized society.

Just keep it to kids at least. Personally, I would leave it to the parents. We rode dirt bikes and ATVs that went faster than that as kids. The land of the free feels the need to legislate every aspect of our lives.
