this is what happens when multnomah county declines to fund its extension service and with it the 4H program. you get people building pisspoor pig fences

still a nice excursion tho, the lads saw some squirrels and fought over the cup of hot chocolate so much they spilled it everywhere and then both cried and shit their pants. but they held hands nicely and crossed the street safely with the light
we have properly met the pig. her name is olive and we fed her peas from our garden and we love her
I gotta ask, who makes your kids’ overalls? I want to keep those in mind in a few years when ours is big enough for them
they're a brand called "silly silas" and they're super annoying to get in the US because they're made in like sweden i think and every time i buy them my bank "detects overseas fraud" and locks my account. it's not fraud. it's overalls. it's worth the hassle tho
Thanks!
Oh no they make newborn sized ones too
they sure do! they're great, they're really practical, we've gotten a ton of use out of them. they're very stretchy so each pair can be worn for like a year or more. no snaps for diaper changes but that's a sacrifice we make for fashion
she is a very gentle pig with gentle chompers who is accustomed to delicately accepting a pea from a clumsy baby hand without chomping any fingers. i trust her with my life
What a fine lass!
hello to Olive! happy pea munching
That's a good pig.
that first picture of the two lads in overalls squatting down with the pig... very good picture imo
agreed. absolutely succeeding at life
I use electric fences for my pigs but I had a few that kept escaping so I built a fenced pen and it took a dozen tries to get it escape proof and even then they were getting close to breaking out before it was time for freezer camp
