still it would have been useful in several kitchens i've worked in to be able to post schedules or recipes or notices, we always had to have an additional corkboard but a magnetic fridge would have been more convenient

as someone who nearly gave herself carpal tunnel writing down all the books I read for summer reading as a child, I love that most libraries have moved away from that model and are focusing on “check off the days you read”. Great for kids who read too much AND for kids who don’t churn through books!
