Honestly though, of all the vices you could have? π€·ββοΈ I don't even wanna know what my annual bar tab is.
that's true, my annual bar tab is maybe $150? i don't go out much and i don't smoke either
I tend to buy a lot of people drinks. My last karaoke night tab was over $100. π¬π€¦ββοΈ
I wouldnβt sweat it. Teaβs already cheap and youβre doing it the cheapest way. If you cut back, youβd like sub more expensive drinks in. Divide that number by 52 and youβll see how much it is per week, which wonβt sound as bad.
Given how cheap even quite nice tea is per liter drink that's quite impressive. The amount of money people will spend on coffee..
What's your favorite for iced tea?
tbh i do not drink iced tea! i just make a pot of hot tea every morning
Wow. No AC. Hot tea in August. You must have a really high personal bodily thermostat setting!
it's not that hot at 6am!
The Gorge isn't as good as the SF->Central Valley conveyor in terms of cool air, but Portland almost always gets an evening cooler breeze, right?
almost always yeah. few nights every year we get a weird still night and it stays gross but it's unusual. it's going to be 56 tomorrow morning for instance
Yeah, it's already cooler than room temp outside. But I'm still drinking iced tea! Yeah, we cool down at night, esp bc I'm on the west side, so we get "marine air." If the Portland-area forecast says "an east wind" then we're going to be hot HOT HOT!
It's a way to get your fluoride
Is there fluoride in tea? Portland doesnβt fluoride our water
i just looked this up- apparently quite a bit, yeah!
lol apparently there were concerns about people in Ireland (the only European country that mandates fluoride in the water) ODing on fluoride because they also drink the most black tea per capita
Did some tea totals
