Sorry for your Mississippi/Southern troubles. I have had similar and also lovely times in MS. Gotta say I once on the same day had my least favorite breakfast of all time (rice with weird and flavorless gravy) and one of my fave desserts (watermelon-citrus-salty-icey-something).
I do find Mississippi underrated. And I love many Mississippians.
And Mississippi does have a lot of cooperatives and anti-capitalist types, even if they don't admit it on whatever social media sites they are allowed to use these days. F-- Tate Reeves, btw. That guy is a chump.
