LA pricing (derogatory)
a mimosa has like $1 worth of ingredients in it and takes no time at all to make and only dirties one glass, i don't feel like it's worth $6 to have someone else do that part for me
you're not even supposed to get drunk on them, you drink a mimosa to signal that you have the freedom to daydrink without actually dealing with the effects, you shouldn't charge real cocktail prices
It’s a good deal if you’re the sort of person who might otherwise pay $12 for a mimosa. 😂😂
Drinks always come with huge markups.
A good deal for them
Did that 200% tarrif threat on champagne go through?!
It’s an OK deal in Portland. I would pay up to $9 for a mimosa. Not because I think it’s worth that much, just because that’s what it seems to cost.
I would accept $7 to drink a mimosa
Where I live they’re usually $10+
wow my goodness
But I live in NY so….
I can't support this with any evidence but I feel like outrageously priced cocktails were culturally enabled by outrageously priced coffee drinks
they used to be on SE Stark I guess I'm behind the times lol they're in the airport only now? if it's the airport I guess $7 isn't high
pdx airport businesses aren't supposed to charge more than their regular brick and mortars! but i guess if they don't HAVE their regular brick and mortar anymore i guess they could claim that's just what they WOULD be charging
ah ha, those rascals and their casuistry anyway my homemade "mimosa" ingredients are relatively deluxe but still less than $7/glass: sparkling wine from Loire (Arnaud Lambert) or Jura (Tissot or Pignier) or Spain (Avinyo) and fresh oj from Zupans or some such
