He is unqualified. But in my opinion most of the public has no idea what autism really is. They think it's just being quirky or different or even gifted. He's right about it being a disorder. When it was first named & diagnosed it meant something, a specific thing. Now it is a meaningless term.
Like I said. Not a fan. But I just YouTubed his entire recent talk and it sounds like he knows a lot. I once went to an infectious disease specialist for a horse fly bite that took months to heal. We talked about my son. He said that what he reads about autism sure seems like it has a viral
It sounds like he knows a lot, but If you ask his whole Kennedy family (siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, great aunts and uncles, 2nd aunts and uncles, 2nd cousins), they’ll all tell you he’s a crackpot idiot.
Look how many children in Texas are dying of measles because of his original vaccine misinformation and denial. Be careful what you believe in that guy. Seek professional consultation before you take his word for anything about autism.

Just exactly like he described. Never date, never communicate, no playing baseball, no reading, banging heads, need help toileting, zero independence. And many like my son hit every developmental milestone until around 15 months, then abruptly lost everything. So, he's spot on accurate, at least
about what happens. As a society we have been telling ourselves stories about autism, that at least for kids and families dealing with classic autism, are not even remotely true. There is nothing positive about what happened to my boy. And nothing positive about how the system has treated it.
