I have no expertise in government, but the piece of advice I give most to parents is “meh” - when you’ve got a toddler or a teen who’s trying to stir things up, the best thing you can do is be indifferent. Make sure they’re not hurting anyone and then just shrug. I think the USA did that today.
Will the national media tell the truth, I mean actually do their jobs, or are we are in a fictitious loop oof lies over the airwaves, yet again. Beware their love of AI.
👏 And...from the photos it looked like the folks who were there for the gathering were simply tourists visiting the nation's Capitol or the Smithsonian. There wasn't a sea of read hats, etc. Low energy. The legit energy was elsewhere with the people carrying personal size flags and signs.

Trump is incompetent at everything but manufacturing lies, but even then, most intelligent people recognize his lies immediately due to their contradictions. This parade was sort of a laugh; like July 4th in a small town. Even the onlookers were about the same number you would see there!
Me too, his parade had no life, no energy like no one wanted to really be there.
Trump speech was to an army he called Victorious Etc we had a parade when the troops came home from Desert Storm and Schwarzkopf was there. There has been no parade since then because it's not been quite a victory. What Trump did to our troops today is unforgivable.

True dat. I found the most effective parental tools were patent lack of interest and a casual "STBU" for stuff you don't want to encourage. It's the Shamu principle.
