I take your point. Labour had just enough discipline to win a General election. Many followers of other parties voted tactically to help achieve that but Labours conduct in government makes any repeat of that cooperation extremely unlikely.

I agree with part of what you're saying here, btw ie the left are not equipped to maintain discipline to secure long periods in government. But it's not because of Labour in government, they've been in for 5 minutes, it's the impatience and the ideological egocentricism and consequent fragmentation
Enjoy your Reform government, then. Actual fascists. See if you can spot the difference. UK lefties don't seem to understand the binary nature of the electoral system. I'm so bored with this exchange. Rinse and repeat.
Some of us โUK Leftiesโ (eg Green Party) understand it perfectly and see how iniquitous it is and wish to change it. Others (eg Labour) only ever talked about Electoral reform when the numbers didnโt suit them
Simple solutions for complex problems. We have such a febrile, tribal politics. The thought of any of the parties such as Greens and Reform working with anyone, is for the birds.
I don't know what planet these people are on.
