Im aware of the oath, having taken it. But I also can understand in this climate the dangers ahead for career military. That’s my only point. Yes I’d love them to protest, but recognize how much they have on the line too.

No, I’m giving consideration for real world issues. I certainly won’t hold them to a higher standard than say our ELECTEDs (whom we pay a hell of a lot more to represent us than soldiers are paid) The problem isn’t the soldiers. The problem is at the top.

A parade is a parade, although bravery would be making a mockery of it. There is zero respect of sympathy to be had for the ones occupying LA. Just following order is not a defense. Not for ICE and not for the Marines or National Guard.

Yes, that’s a completely different scenario. Following orders for a parade is a stark contrast from following orders and harming humans. It’s a super shitty situation they are put in by the commander in chief. In a normal time, this would not have made it thru the guardrails. But he fired them 😠
