At a certain point we have to drop the cutesy hedge of calling him an “aspiring” dictator and admit that he’s been allowed to catch that particular brass ring.

it is fascinating how public institutions are passively accepting that fascism 'fits' within the context of "America's constitutional democracy" & both the Congress & (esp) the Supreme Court are actively supporting the viability of fascism under the American system of government. It's left to us.
