His argument sucks, though, but that's par for Christians. There is no story about atheism. We don't believe. Period. There are all different kinds of atheists.

Personally. Atheism was the outcome of research and logical thinking. I still love the lessons and insights that are in many of the old stories, across cultures and time, but I realize that our brain has evolutionary reasons for creating the need for those stories.

Fair point. I have tried explaining that more times than I was forced to recite the Lords pray at school. Being sent to a faith school just reinforced my atheism.

Uh, there are no 'fairy stories' for most atheists - it's kinda in the name - nor is there 'atheism'. That is a religionist's concept; they can't imagine functioning outside of some doctrine. There is no atheist catechism. There are no rules. That's kinda the point. Also, didja ever notice...
