I was diagnosed with ADHD at age 52. I don't think I can overestimate how much damage untreated ADHD did to my life -- injuries, arrests, lost friends, lost jobs, damaged relationships, financial problems. And all it would have taken was someone diagnosing me when all the signs were there.
