There are different interpretations as to why the D lost the elections. I am not an expert of US internal politics. But I have seen my fair share of toppled regimes. It's not by focussing on internal divisions, and orthodoxies. In fact, that's the recipe for defeat.

it is not an internal division.

Going by your own words, mate. Newson no good on trans, then no good on anything. Newson 'corporate democrat', therefore not representing the common cause of taking down Trump. Just grossly paraphrasing, not mocking you.

Yes. So in terms of ACTIONS we need to take: we need to USE Newsom to fight back against trump. But, when it comes time, say, for somebody to vote for Newsom or not, you FUCK him and vote for someone who WILL stand for trans & homeless rights. Like Greens or Socialists. Ok?

That's why you have primaries, I thought.

I said it was ONE EXAMPLE. My words Corporate democrats are why we have Trump, they will not save us from him. The party has an approval rating lower than Trump, and it’s run by establishment folks.

That's highly debatable. In fact, it is strongly disputed that any single cause led to Trump.

Exactly. The only POLITICAL CAUSATION is DUMB BRUTE FORCE. Fanatical morons simply PUSH HARDER for THEIR candidate. That's it. The winning candidate is NEVER CAUSED by the losing candidates or their losing voters. That is the only LOGICALLY CONSISTENT way to define causation.

Trump is historically unpopular and yet? Democrats and their inaction, directly led to Trump - and they refuse to change. That’s why NO TO NEWSOM.

I totally agree that spineless inaction played a role, but also pandering to some unpalatable ultra-left rhetoric lost a huge moderate chunk of the electorate. You can't chant and encourage 'defund the police', and expect middle-class families to approve. So, that's two divergent causes already.

People won’t and dont care about those issues if their lives are getting better instead of dramatically worse every year under Democratic presidents. You’re missing the forest for the trees.

I actually agree with this, too. I am not missing any of these, I think. But if you make it all about trans issues, as in your first post, that's definitely a tree in the forest.

Let me put it in a different way. You need Newsom like you would need a very effective weapon in an arsenal. You need the arsenal as well stocked and diversified as possible, so you can take on the enemy whatever he throws at you. Then for your victory parade, you will showcase only your finest.
