Right. We aren't plants nor insects nor even amphibians. Amphibians are vulnerable to pesticides and pthalates in plastics though which have been proven to alter their gender. www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti... news.berkeley.edu/2010/03/01/f...

However, albeit rarely, hermaphroditism happens to people as well. That's what I meant to allude to in my initial reply.
