As a lady with Problem Skin (& dark facial hair+pale skin), it really is a lifesaver. Even if I'm not doing full face I pretty much always break out green concealer for wherever my face wants to be red that day, then blend it out with light pinkish skin tone. Very much not a makeup expert yet though

With a lovely complexion like that I wouldn't want to cover up too much, but there's definitely a trick to letting that come through while covering the stuff you need covered. I've been trying to work on letting more of my natural pinkish-red shine through, just evened out and not blotchy

Honestly I'm just really resistant to doing concealer or foundation after getting so accustomed to doing a The Ordinary-style clear skin routine, but I'll have to compromise eventually I suspect

I have a lot of complexion issues to smooth out, so it's different, but I use a color-correcting primer and a sheer tint and just skip foundation most of the time. That usually gives me enough base to blend in a dab of concealer on the places I need it. I've been trying to be comfortable with less!
