Real question: Do we married broads need to start changing our names back to our maiden names like NOW?

You're ok as long as you have a current passport that matches your legal name. I took my middle name as my legal last name in '96, so it doesn't exactly match my birth cert., but does match my passport, thank goodness. I can't believe we're having these conversations.

I thought it had to match your birth certificate, which is why they were disenfranchising married women who took their husband's name....Ew. I did keep my maiden name as my middle name on some documents. I have to look to see if that's on my passport. I can't believe we're back here either.

This is a good overview. "The SAVE Act would require all American citizens registering to vote or updating their registration information to present documentary proof of citizenship in person. For the vast majority of Americans, this would be a passport or birth certificate."

Thanks..I probably saw something click-bait-y and meant to increase my already high blood pressure.
