The red caps are a red flag for angry people. Hope manufacturers quit making them. I received a free red ball cap with an IBM product on it about 20 years ago. Wore it during trump Part I. I noticed the logo was not visible at distance but the angry reactions to me were. I tossed the damn thing.

In some parts of the country they still wear (or fly) the confederate battle flag from 163 years ago. Yes, it's offensive to anyone with any empathy or conscience, but their communities support it. Maybe we should do reconstruction right this time, instead of abandoning it less than half done.

When I was ten I had a red baseball cap. I loved that cap. It was all cloth. No plastic or foam. Pretty sure it was made right here in the USA, too. Now in my old age I wouldn't be caught dead in a red cap. Like the American flag, it has been co-opted by a neo fascist, white supremacy movement.
