I am going to buy milkweed seeds and spread them everywhere I go. The more who do this the merrier. Monarch caterpillars feed only on milkweed. We can help these gorgeous creatures by spreading a handful here and there.

Here too. Monarchs are somewhat unique though. Massive long migrations over all of North America. I see fewer now than when I was young.

I saw a whole flock one Seot over the middle of Lake Michigan, while on a ferry from MI to WI.

I never saw something like that. It would have been incredible. Those fragile flowers of the sky migrating thousands of miles....

MI here, that is good news. Like a month ago there was one under the deck with a broken wing 😔

We had eleven caterpillars and one chrysalis this year! First year we looked.
