But I've had long conversations with my dad & other conservative friends that enshrine the conservatism as related to religion. Power trumps all concerns related to tax goodness or badness (if you will). They see me as a"conservative" biz owner + a lib. They = conservative at church. Lib economics
Maybe I'm naive, but RW presidents historically raise the deficit while democratic ones try to lower it. Or is this oversimplified? I'm not going to finish line by line. But the police state during BLM was heralded by my cons friends. Also the Bible Photo Op with Trump.
They love demonstrations of strength against against their perceived enemies. These people around me LOVE ruthlessly deporting immigrants. I'm out of my mind trying to understand people I "loved" and now question their misguided moralities. I don't believe our politics are against each other.
