I feel like there's been an absurdly reductive bandwagon where people just despise anything to do with any AI, without realizing just how internally diverse AI is. There are many many issues with how things like LLMs are being used, but people can't separate their criticisms, and have to
make shitting on the entire thing part of their identity. The development of AI is inevitable, and there are many instances where we can use it positively, we just have to steer the ship in the rapids to try to mitigate the bad shit as much as possible.
You do also have the opposite of people who over glaze it and want to include it and use it for everything, even when it doesn't need it.
