i have no idea what they are but the fishbourne people talk about theirs a lot. we like roman stuff, it is like being back north home.

Roman stuff is fab. Hypocausts are Roman central heating. Piles of tiles under floors, allowing heat to circulate. So clever. It’s decades since I studied it but it’s MARVELLOUS! 🥰
