Finally started reading House of Leaves after picking up a hardback copy on eBay. It is already getting in my head. The word 'house' appears in blue ink when you catch it from the corner of your eye, but when looking at it directly I swear it's printed in black. I'm on page 6. Of 700.
I read a large chunk of House of Leaves while stranded at midnight in a trainstation. A memorably unnerving experience. I recommend it!

And that's 1,000 pgs with the notes and border crawls. I'm a big fan of following the convoluted and had a great time. Had to stop reading it latenights tho, because it takes a different level of concentration than most. Might run this one, again.
