Unfortunately, this isn't possible. Democracy only holds on if you have the will to keep it. There's no way to make rules that enforce themselves, or can protect themselves from tyrants. If no person opposes tyranny, it doesn't matter what a piece of paper says, tyranny will come anyways.

💯 That "sweeping under the rug" is the thing I am (still) most angry at Obama for doing. His excusing the crimes of the Bush administration I believe helped pave the way for where we are now.
