Did the price of .com domain registrations go up? I don't remember them being more than $15 but two of my .coms up for renewal at Namecheap are over $17 now.

I used to use Hover! And I hear good things about Porkbun. The only consistent thing in tech is that every few years the services you use start to suck and you have to find new ones.

Prices have gone up at NameCheap for various domains endings, I have an .io domain that kinda hurt to pay after the recent increase but I don't want to let it go 😅 I always use a coupon that gives me 20% off on renewals and has been working forever.

We always use @cloudflare.social $10.44 for .com with security thrown in for free. What’s not to like?
