And through all this where is the Republican Party? Not one single Republican will stand up for the country or respect the Constitution. They are nothing more than a cult now.

When did you think they were anything else...We identified them in 2012 and so did they, same report different parties...they knew by didn't give a shit about their own voters...Either they followed the cult of they died.

Yes because they are all fucking complicit cowards. If everyone of them right now stood together and voted to impeach and convict this would be over. Because Vance would know the same thing would happen to him. Traitors all.

Exactly. They're all cowards. Too scared of Trump and Musk. I truly don't get it - they're more afraid of losing their seats than their country? Willing to sell out the American people to these megalomaniacs because...why? They hate DEI? It makes no sense.

I think it's partly their seats but even more so their illegal insider stock tips. If we cleaned that up it would really be possible to get elected leaders back to doing their jobs.

I kind of think it’s more sinister, like threats to family members. Whether true or not, I’m positive Elon and his connection to Russia has instilled some serious fear in the Republican politicians. That has to be the only reason he’s gotten away with this much. It’s sick.

You're likely correct that that's a part of it.

The GOP has never embraced pluralistic (true) democracy. If it was up to them, there would have been no civil/social progress since the 50's & women would not have the right to vote. They stopped caring about democracy in the 70's at the latest. Reagan's Radicalism was the end of them pretending.
