Republicans aren't just people with different ideologies than Democrats. They are enemies of the U.S., as much so as Japan in 1941, seeking to destroy us. Protecting our intelligence assets is such a fundamental facet of national security, and both Bush/Cheney and Trump/Vance screwed it up.
