George Orwell's π‘¨π’π’Šπ’Žπ’‚π’ π‘π’‚π’“π’Ž is published in 1946. Orwell, a socialist and critic of Stalin, wrote it to satirize events leading up to the Russian Revolution and then the Stalinist era. Contemporary reviews were not universally positive, one calling it 'dull.' #booksky #writingcommunity #authors

Well, it may be a bit dull but with Napoleon the pig in the white house, it was spot on.

SHOUT my Book @shoutmybook.com

Wild to think a book that’s now considered a classic was once brushed off as dull. Just goes to show how time has a way of proving the true weight of a story.
