“Legal” is long and complicated. Our ancestors came here “illegally”. Why don’t we have a system for asylum seekers like we did with Ellis Island? Racism. That’s why.

Until it changes, legal is the way it should be done versus sneaking into the country. If you do, or you overstay a visa, you risk getting thrown out…especially if you commit a crime

Uh, you risk getting kidnapped by masked, unidentified men and sent to a 5th precinct (Louisiana conservative), WITH A VALID VISA AND COMMITTING NO CRIME! Btw, “getting thrown out” means sent back to your country of origin. NOT a prison in a different country.
