Mao would be proud GOGETEM
Based, Mao was right on landlords
All landlords are bastards
Hausmeister, ja
She did ZERO repairs the entire time we lived there
Like imagine making that much money doing NOTHING
She might be related to my landlord, and I'm not even trying to be funny. Our maintenance men have told us that he chooses the cheapest materials available, including windows and window insulation in a state where the temps can get to -40. He charges a move out fee of $75 for each dirty cupboard.
He charged a dead man's family for the remainder of his rent. Etc etc.
Dong zhuo behavior
Btw what’s she’s really mad about is she has to pay the court fees of €12,000 from when she tried to evict us and they probably sent her a bill
She played stupid games and won a stupid prize
hahaha nice
Hello molly can you give me a quote please molly sorry to bother you 🙏🤲🏻
landlords are the fucking worst
Molly 😔😔😔😔💔
lmao landlords really think they’re doing us a favor by doing nothing
The worst part of owning a home is dealing with the repairs, but at least when I ignore them it’s my choice! 😂
The security deposit is held by the tenant there? That’s a great system!
This is art
Sheeeesh, that last sentence
I’ve been wanting to chew her out for so long lololol
Please Molly, check my private messages and help me, I really need you. @mommunism.bsky.social
This reminds me of this one landlord I had who wanted to keep the security deposit because we *parked* on the *parking pad* instead of leaving the grass undisturbed
Ugh, I had a landlord like this once upon a time. When it became obvious they were just getting as much from me as they could I ghosted them. They threatened to sue a few times then went away.
I’m so happy for you Molly! I had a similar experience with the letting agents in my old flat (the landlord was fine). The contract clearly stated that they had 10 working days from when we moved out to inform us of any deductions from the deposit, otherwise it would be returned in full.
They informed us on working day 14 that they intended to keep £1500 of the £1875 for everything from new carpets to replacement light bulbs (we had been there 7 years and the carpets were 3 years old when we moved in so that was a joke anyway).
That’s just regular maintenance!! Thats not damage!!!
Carpets in rental properties legally have a seven year lifespan here so even if they were brand new when we moved in and they’d contacted us within the contracted limit it would have been a cool story
Oh my god that makes it even worse! I dont think we have that standard in the US. We dont have enough renter protections :(
We replied with a wordier version of “cool story, not in the contract, £1875 please” and did so for about eight emails until I threatened to charge them interest. They were flabbergasted that anyone could have the audacity to read and enforce their contract, truly insane
Please my friend Molly. Help me spread my tweet.🙏😭
“Highly unprofessional and deeply unpleasant person” I’m gonna save that phrase for later
