People often say that cruelty is the point. But I don’t think that fully encapsulates Trump. After all the time researching him, I don’t think he’s cruel because he wants people to hurt-I think he it’s because he literally can’t comprehend other’s feeling. For him there is only 1 point: vengeance 1/
Vengeance is different to cruelty. He is not doing to hurt others. He is doing it to make himself feel better. Which may seem slightly better until you realise: that means there is literally no way for him to fill the void and therefore stop.
Trump is not, as most people believe, obsessed with money, or power. One thing drives him: respect. He needs, pathologically, to be seen as ‘the best’ ‘the strongest’ ‘ the richest’ etc. at the moment, the current obsession is ‘the toughest’ he frames all by presidential decisions by that.
Like the Nobel Peace Price. It eats at him that Obama got one and he hasn't. Was why he was trying to take credit for India/Pakistan talks.
