Yes, and they are still read by a scanner so it's not taking a machine out of the process. True paper ballots are what caused the mess in Florida with Bush vs Gore.

That wasn't the main problem in FL. It was the *layout* of the printed ballots that resulted in voters being confused. Plus the chad factor.
