Both them and No Man's Sky
Both them and No Man's Sky
I'm not sure No Man's Sky truly recovered, despite being very good now. At least in a "everyone raves about it" kinda way like Cyberpunk did.
Though that could just be because of the genre of the game. I don't actually know how many people play it.
It's a smaller niche for sure, but it nailed it. Another one that I wish I had more time for because it's pretty much what I was hoping it would be now.
I kinda want to get back into it, but every time I do I get frustrated with the early game grind (and also don't have time for it).
That's what stops me too. I know it's a long haul.
Similar to Starfield in that I think I would be into it but signing up for the emptiness of space is never top of my to-do list
I enjoyed the core gameplay, but none of the quests were good.
Starfield has nothing to keep me coming back. I tried. There is no wonder. It's soulless.
Yea, for me it was the exact opposite. I've beaten it twice and will play it again, because there was wonder everywhere.
Yeah I feel this way about New Vegas. For a game where I know most of the story beats and quest lines, I still find myself stumbling into an entire new area I've never seen before (and I still have DLC I've never touched). For a 15 year old game or so that's fascinating.
I liked Starfield cause the story really intrigued me, but I haven't touched it since I beat it the first time. I think it got a bad rap because of how over hyped it was, but it's a solid "Fallout in Space."
Opposite for me. The story doesn't grab me at all.
I dig The Martian aesthetic but throughly enjoying my retro Half Life looking survival game for scratching my "oh how am I going to science this" itch
Which one is that
