Not really a 'new' think tank - Prosperity Inst. seems to be a reincarnation of the Legatum Institute with common denominator Shanker Singham (also of Institute for Economic Affairs, post-Brexit trade) reappearing centre stage. All good, charitable foundations doing splendid works for RW politics 🤬
Ah, the same grifters who promised the earth to Brexiters while destroying the country & cleaning up with their hedge fund mates then offshoring their ill-gotten gains. Singham should be strung up, as should Elliott.
Really helpful infographic, thanks! Paul Marshall seems to found/own a lot of RW organisations… “He is the owner of UnHerd, The Spectator and co-owner of GB News” source: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Ma... There are SO many seriously alarming things in this Wikipedia page about him
He’s another disaster capitalist who can never be rich enough & is happy to ruin countries & people’s lives to make the rich even richer. Absolute psychopaths.
Agreed! The plot thickens again with Philippa Stroud and Paul Marshall here - another organisation called ARC to add to the infographic… Brilliant articles @writesbright.bsky.social thank you for informing us all! writesbright.substack.com/p/government...
Thanks for the illustration. I wish I could find the clip of @georgemonbiot.bsky.social on PoliticsLive interrogating IEA about where their funds came from . . .
