Sure guns are a symptom of what is outlined in the article (interesting thoughts) . Still there was a HUGE drop in gun-induced homocides in times of strict gun laws! I think that every single child who gets spared from being killed or injured or in a school shooting is so much worth the try.

But, the symptoms outlined in the article is why the assault weapon ban was ended as soon as it was politically expedient. The ban did not solve the base problem (which is how americans look at the world)
