For example: "I ought to support my struggling friends." That's a nice sentiment. "To do that, I should get a better paying job." That's a goal. "I should search online for a nicer job, draft a resume & cover letter, and then apply." That's a plan of action. See how that works, Hakeem? Fuck.

The problem is that a lot of institutional Dems see what's happening from the lens of what it can do for them the next time they get a POTUS. They see a TON of benefits from this new normal. Like removal of 2A. They're missing the obvious point that there won't be a next POTUS.
