I got a "fun tie" for my birthday. I don't usually wear fun ties, but this one is a vintage Hermès with a cool old-timey graphic on a navy blue background. She knows me well.

The day was wrapped up with Arvo Pärt. The announcer at the concert said: "1980 was an important year for Pärt." Me too. Pärt was my age in 1980.
