Oh no. I'm proofreading a book and can now see the absolute havoc AI has done to translation and proofreading. I used to be able to search for cases of language use with any search engine to determine the correctness of certain words and phrases. It's all gone now. 1/3
Previously, I could quickly map out correct forms of words and phrases in the target language by looking at frequency of use, for example. I could, for example, compare two phrases and look at the numbers of hits. It's all gone. I cannot do it anymore. 2/3
Now, especially with rarer words and phrases, it's all nonsense AI translations from top to bottom. It's horrendous. It's like going back home after a while and finding that a tidal wave has destroyed your entire neighborhood. I'm literally lost for words. 3/3
