Perhaps I am unaware of the info you have, but I do know that Hamas likely knew that Israel would retaliate before conducting 10/7. Why would Hamas act knowing that Israel had military advantage? Why didn’t Hamas surrender the hostages when Palestinian civilians were dying? See, it is not so binary.

So let me confirm I understand your point here. Your point is that Israel is fully justified in violating every international law, committing war crimes like collective punishment, and slaughtering 60,000 largely innocent men, women and children in pursuit of the release of what is now 20 hostages?

If so, regardless of anything Hamas did on 10/7, there is no justification for the indiscriminate slaughter of Palestinians. If they're really after Hamas they need to figure out a different strategy. Period. Add to that Israeli government officials have outright called for the destruction of Gaza

And it's people. Openly admitting they don't care about the hostages. If they really do care about the hostages they wouldn't be bombing everything to pieces and starving the population. If Hamas can't eat, do you think they're feeding their hostages? Now, again, I ask do you know any history?

This is from 2017 www.amnesty.org/en/latest/ne... You can Google more on your own to learn of the horrors Palestinians face under Israeli apartheid. And tbc, I don't condone the murder of innocents on either side but you have to be blind or cruel to not see how Israel is also at fault for 10/7

Let's try a little exercise: if we took people from another country hostage after attacking them (which we have done) do you think that country would be justified murdering your family who had no part in it? How about your friends, your neighbors, your whole city? You think that's totally justified

It is difficult to continue a conversation with someone who incorrectly infers what he believes I think from what I actually wrote.

A cowardly response. Either it means I'm completely correct or you're too ignorant to have a actual opinion that isn't fed to you

On this we can agree but it's never too late to be informed
